ABS Headliner – 47-49 GMC Chevy 3100 Truck
These are the best (and most popular) 1947-1949 Chevy Truck - ABS headliner kits on the market. They are meant to replace existing cardboard headliner.
Features of our 1947-1949 Chevy Truck – ABS headliner kit:
- ★ Made from 1/16″ ABS plastic to replace factory cardboard.
- ★ Black in colour with haircell texture finish.
- ★ Comes with (4) ABS pieces
- ★ Can be left exposed, painted or covered with fabric.
- THIS KIT DOES NOT INCLUDE THE CENTER AND REAR METAL BOW STRIPS
Late 47-Early 49 cab identification
- ★ Has a non-floating center trim. The front panel is held in place by the center trim being screwed to the roof center cross member and retained by the front metal window trim.
- ★ Weather stripping around the doors is held in place by a screw on trim. The roof panel is profiled to fit around these screw holes.
- ★ The center trim is located closer towards the front windshield and not as far back as the later years.
- ★ Filler strips were supplied from factory to fill the gaps located on the pillars between the windshield and door weather stripping retainer trim.
The UNICORN cab identification
- ★ This cab falls between the early and late 49 cabs.
- ★ The weatherstripping rubber trim in this cab is held on with the new style slide in retainer that is spot welded to the cab interior face.
- ★ The roof center trim is still the screw in type and located closer towards the front windshield and not as far back as the later years.

Headliner fit perfect in my 47
Nice quality. Was a little short where it curves around the B pillar. Hopefully the windlace will cover it.
The headliner kit went in fairly easy. An extra hand would have helped but doable by yourself. Fit well. Looks great. Highly recommended.
Awesome service, excellent product. Customer service was helpful and efficient. As I’m a customer in Australia I was very impressed with the delivery as it only took roughly a week and a half to arrive.
Will definitely be shopping at LS again.
Haven’t installed these yet. Look to be a great product.
