About 1947-53 Ford Truck Parts

The 1947-1953 Ford pickups span two distinct generations. The F-1, marketed as Bonus-Built, ran through 1952; the redesigned F-100 replaced it for the 1953 model year. That matters when you are ordering, because a part cut for the Bonus-Built cab will not always carry over to an early F-100. Everything on this page is selected for one or the other, so there is no universal-fitment guesswork.

What we carry for the F-1 and early F-100

  • Sheet metal panels for the cab and body
  • Billet aluminum accessories and door hardware
  • Fuel system components, and the fuel filler charging port if the factory filler opening is being repurposed
  • Dash and interior parts
  • Tailgate and bed hardware — see all our tailgate upgrades

Bolt-in upgrades

RainGear’s hidden windshield wiper system comes in 1948-52 and 1953-55 Ford fitments, moving the motor and linkage off the cowl. Nu-Relic power window kits cover the 1948-52 doors, and Custom Autosound builds classic radios for the factory dash opening.

A growing catalog

Our Ford lineup is newer than our GM lineup and we are still adding fitment-specific parts for the F-1 and early F-100. If there is something you need for this generation that you cannot find here, it is worth asking — some of what we make now started as a customer request.
