Description
This gas filler delete is formed to fit where the gas filler neck sits on a 1947–1954 Chevrolet or GMC truck. It welds in to shave the filler hole in the passenger side of the cab, which is what you want if you are relocating the filler.
Moving the filler is a common change on a 1947-54 Advance Design build, and once the filler neck is gone the cab is left with an opening that needs to be closed up properly. This panel is cut and formed to the factory opening, so you are not starting from a flat sheet and trying to match the shape of the cab by hand.

Does it bolt in or weld in?
It welds in. The panel is laser cut from 16 gauge steel and cut or formed to the factory filler opening, so you skip templating, cutting and forming a patch of your own.
How do I know it fits my truck?

How long before it ships?
It is a stock item and generally ships within 1-3 business days. Carrier transit time is on top of that, and larger orders can arrive in more than one box on different days.
What if it is not right for the truck?
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. The part needs to come back new, uninstalled and in its original packaging - once a part has been trimmed or welded it cannot go back.
