About Billet Steering Wheels for Classic Trucks

A billet steering wheel is one of the few interior changes you feel every time you drive the truck. Sparc Industries machines these from solid aluminum for a direct bolt-in fit on the factory column — no aftermarket adapter, no hub kit to source separately, and no wrapped or composite rim to come loose later.

Fitments available

  • 3100 billet steering wheel — 1947-54 Chevy and GMC Advance Design trucks
  • Squarebody billet steering wheel — 1973-87 Chevy and GMC trucks

Why billet over the factory wheel

Original wheels on these trucks are large-diameter, usually cracked through the plastic rim, and sit closer to the driver than most builders want once a bench seat has been rebuilt. A machined aluminum wheel drops the diameter, cleans up the spokes and gives the column something that matches billet door handles, knobs and trim rings.

Related interior upgrades

The rest of the machined interior hardware is in billet aluminum truck parts, and both fitments are listed on their era pages: 47-54 Chevy and GMC truck parts and 73-87 Squarebody truck parts.
