Hood hinges are wear parts. The metal tires, the springs weaken, and gaps that were right when the truck was new stop being right. These CVF billet hinges replace the originals on a 1978–1979 Ford Bronco and put the adjustment back in your hands.

Installation
The kit ships with all mounting hardware and color installation instructions.
The 6-axis adjustment lives in the hinge itself, so once the hinges are on you can dial in the hood gaps without pulling the hood off again.

Common questions
Do I have to modify the hood or inner fenders?
No. They mount at the factory hinge locations, and the adjustment is built into the hinge itself, so the hood can be set without stacking shims.
Do they hold the hood up on their own?
Yes. Gas struts are part of the hinge assembly, so the hood stays up without a prop rod, and the pivots run on sealed bearings.
Does it matter if my hood is steel or fibreglass?
Yes. The gas struts are matched to hood weight, so choose the steel or fibreglass option at the top of the page to match the hood on your truck.
How long is the lead time?
Around 7-10 days on the standard finish. Ceramic clear coat, Stealth Black and Black Diamond are finished to order and can run 4-6 weeks. They carry CVF's limited lifetime warranty.
How do I know it fits my truck?

What if it is not right for the truck?
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. The part needs to come back new, uninstalled and in its original packaging - once a part has been trimmed or welded it cannot go back.
