Polycarbonate Truck Parts

Polycarbonate truck parts are used where a clear part has to survive being hit. It is the same family of plastic used for safety glazing, and it will flex and mark where acrylic would crack straight through - which matters for a lens sitting behind a gravel-fed grille.

It scratches more easily than glass, so clean it with a soft cloth and plain soapy water rather than anything abrasive or solvent-based. Most polycarbonate parts here are lighting lenses and window pieces.
