Fitment notes
The ACI motors are reverse polarity motors and require reverse polarity switches. If you are supplying your own switches, confirm that before you wire anything up.

Installation
Wiring: the ground for this system has to come from the master switch. The motor has two poles — power to one side and ground to the other, not to the motor case — and swapping the wires side to side reverses the direction. Most of our harnesses come with an in-line 30 amp fuse, and a circuit breaker works too. Power can come straight off the battery, from a spare slot in your fuse panel, or from the key-on side of the switch. A relay is not normally needed, but old-style 3-pole switches need a special relay to reverse polarity at the motor; call us at 336-699-8949 and we can supply those prewired.
Grease and oil: use a high-temp automotive wheel bearing and chassis lubricant on the regulator gear teeth and roller tracks, NLGI grade 2 for example, and stay away from older soap-based lithium grease, which sets up hard in cold weather. A few drops of lightweight oil at the pivot points keeps the Bronze Oilite bushings running smoothly. 3M silicone spray helps break in fuzzy runs and weather stripping, and dielectric grease or Tuner Lube on the terminals keeps moisture and corrosion out.

Do the doors have to be modified?
No. The regulators are model specific, so they bolt into the original mounting holes and run in the stock window channels. The door looks and works the same from outside.
What is in the kit?
Two front door regulators, left and right, plus two new ACI motors. Switches are a separate choice at the top of the page - order a switch kit and the conduit is included at no extra charge; order without switches and you get motor plugs and terminals instead.
Is there a warranty?
A lifetime warranty applies with a copy of your sales receipt or invoice, so keep the paperwork.

You have 30 days from delivery to return it by mail. Return shipping is on you, and the part needs to come back uninstalled and unmodified - once a part has been trimmed or welded it cannot go back. Made-to-order items are final sale. The full terms are on our returns page.
