Description
Factory tailgate trunnions are zinc plated, and on a 1967–1972 Chevy or GMC they rust, bind and squeak until dropping the gate is a fight. This six-piece set replaces them with stainless parts that will not rust and let the tailgate swing quietly again.

Is it a bolt-on?
Yes. It replaces the factory trunnions and goes on where the originals came off.
Will it quiet the tailgate down?
That is what it is for. The trunnions run on Delrin, so the gate opens and closes quietly instead of grinding, and the metal parts are stainless steel or billet aluminum, so they do not rust.
Is mounting hardware included?
It depends on the kit - the Features list on this page says whether hardware is included, optional or reused from your truck.
What does the stepside version include?
The trunnion bushing only. It is used with your stock tailgate bracket.
How do I know it fits my truck?
