About Tilt Bed Hinge Kits
A tilting bed floor — for hidden storage, easier access to what’s underneath, or just a cleaner custom build — needs hinges rated to handle the weight and hold their position under load. This collection covers the scissor hinges and lift hardware for that job. We carry two scissor hinge options: a billet aluminum set (sold as the TRE5 hinge) and a universal pair available in either stainless steel or billet aluminum, both built to handle a tilting bed floor, hood, or custom compartment. For powered operation, we also carry electric tilt bed lifts that add motorized lift assist to the setup. Every product here is universal fit, so it works across makes and models rather than being tied to a specific truck era.
