These panels replace the wall behind the seat in a 1949–1954 Chevy or GMC truck. They are formed and bead rolled with our own design to fit the back of the cab, and they go in as a three-piece set.

Installation
Built to be installed by the do-it-yourselfer. The three panels secure to each other through installed rivnuts using the supplied #10-24 stainless steel machine screws.
The set then mounts to the floor and the header panel with the supplied self-tapping screws.

Does the panel arrive finished, or does it need work?
It ships bare, ready for you to fit and then prep and paint, coat or cover however suits the build.
Can I bolt it in instead of welding?
It depends on the panel. Several go in more than one way - laid over the existing panel, butt welded, screwed, riveted or bonded - and the Features list and installation notes on this page say what this one is set up for.
How much fitting should I expect?
Test fit before anything is welded or drilled. Fifty years of body work, previous repairs and factory tolerance mean no two cabs or beds are identical, so expect some final fitting to your own truck.
How do I know it fits my truck?

What if it is not right for the truck?
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. The part needs to come back new, uninstalled and in its original packaging - once a part has been trimmed or welded it cannot go back. Return shipping is at your cost, and we ask that returns come by USPS. Made-to-order, sale and clearance items are final sale. The full terms are on our returns page.
Can I install this myself?
It is designed for an at-home install. Read the fitment notes and the Installation tab on this page before you start for anything that needs drilling, trimming or welding, and where an installation guide or video exists for the part it is linked there.

Middle panel fastner holes for connecting two outer panels did not align; offset in middle panel on bottom of where it over-laps the two outer panels was not properly shaped to allow the panels to be even at the top. More than likely the cause of the fastner holes not to align.

Panel are well made nice quality. Ordering was easy . Shipped fast. Very pleased
The order was received early!! Craftsmanship is excellent and the panels look great. No two 70-some-year-old cabs are the same so expect to do a little trimming/fine tuning.
Packing was a small issue. The panels are not flat and were packed with molded foam strips to keep the panels cushioned and separated. Most of the strips came loose during shipping so there were a few minor scratches. Ya gotta sand before painting anyway so not really a big deal.
