Description

A four-piece billet dash for 1947–1953 GMC and Chevrolet Advance Design trucks. The pieces are CNC milled from 6061 aluminum with a machined finish, and the extended speaker grille cover has the ash tray deleted.

What is included

  • Billet glove box door
  • Billet extended speaker grille cover
  • Billet gauge split piece
  • Billet driver side dash piece

  • (4) 10-32 3/8" stainless Phillips screws for mounting the billet glove box to the factory hinges (hinges not provided)

Fitment notes

Four holes have to be drilled into the dash, two behind each of the new pieces on the driver side of the speaker grille. The gauge split piece covers the original offset column indent in the dash, so a drop column has to be used.

If you order custom engraving, we contact you by email after the order comes in and send a rendering for your approval before anything is machined.

Not included

  • The factory glove box hinges, which are reused.
  • A drop steering column. The gauge split piece covers the original offset column indent, so a drop column has to be used.
  • A drill. Four holes are drilled into the dash, two behind each of the new pieces on the driver side of the speaker grille.
For Off Road Use Only This product is not intended for use on public roads or highways.

Common questions

Are the glove box hinges included?

No. The billet glove box door mounts to your factory hinges with the supplied stainless screws.

Is it a straight bolt-in?

No. Four holes have to be drilled in the dash, two behind each of the new pieces on the driver side of the speaker grille, and the gauge split piece covers the original offset column indent, so the truck needs a drop column.

What finish do the pieces come in?

CNC milled from 6061 aluminum in a machined finish.

How do I know it fits my truck?

This part is listed for 1947–1953 Chevy and GMC 3100, 3800 and Suburban. The full year, make and model list is in the Truck Compatibility tab on this page. If your truck has been modified, or you are between two of the year ranges we list, send us the year, make and model and we will confirm the fit before you order rather than after.

How long before it ships?

It is a stock item and generally ships within 1-3 business days. Carrier transit time is on top of that, and larger orders can arrive in more than one box on different days.

What if it is not right for the truck?

You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. The part needs to come back new, uninstalled and in its original packaging - once a part has been trimmed or welded it cannot go back. Return shipping is at your cost, and we ask that returns come by USPS. Made-to-order, sale and clearance items are final sale. The full terms are on our returns page.
