Description
The Altman Easy Hood Latch is a bolt-on replacement for the hood latch on 1947–1954 Chevy and GMC pickups. It installs into the radiator support and closes the hood the way a good door latch closes a door, with no slamming, no rattling and no wrestling with a worn out factory latch.
If you are building a 1947-54 Advance Design Chevy or GMC and the original hood latch has seen better days, this kit swaps it for a latch built on the Altman Easy Latch system. It mounts in the radiator support and bolts in without any fabrication.

How long before it ships?
It is a stock item and generally ships within 1-3 business days. Carrier transit time is on top of that, and larger orders can arrive in more than one box on different days.
What if it is not right for the truck?
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. The part needs to come back new, uninstalled and in its original packaging - once a part has been trimmed or welded it cannot go back.
