Description
Move the fuel tank on a 1947–1954 Chevrolet or GMC pickup and the factory filler opening is left with nothing to do. This port gives it a job: it drops straight into the hole where the old filler neck sat and turns it into a charging or kill switch connection, instead of one more spot to patch and paint.

Fitment notes
Seals and gas caps are not included. A vented cap needs its vent modified before it will work with the port.

Installation
The port goes in where the old filler neck came out. No welding, drilling or fabrication.
If you run a vented gas cap, plan on modifying the vent. Seals and gas caps are not part of the kit.

How do I know it fits my truck?
This part is listed for 1947–1954 Chevy and GMC 3100, 3600, 3800 and Suburban. The full year, make and model list is in the Truck Compatibility tab on this page. If your truck has been modified, or you are between two of the year ranges we list, send us the year, make and model and we will confirm the fit before you order rather than after.
How long before it ships?
It is a stock item and leaves our warehouse in 1-3 business days. Transit after that is typically 2-5 business days in the United States. Larger orders can arrive in more than one box on different days.
What if it is not right for the truck?
You have 30 days from delivery to return it by mail. Return shipping is on you, and the part needs to come back uninstalled and unmodified - once a panel has been trimmed or welded it cannot go back. Made-to-order items are final sale. The full terms are on our returns page.
Can I install this myself?
It is designed for a home install with ordinary hand tools, and the fitment notes on this page list anything that needs drilling, trimming or welding. Where an installation guide or video exists for the part it is linked in the Installation tab.
