Description
Boxing the rear frame rails on a 1947–1953 GMC or Chevy usually starts with cardboard templates and a cutoff wheel. These plates are laser cut to shape, which takes the guesswork and the time out of that part of the job.
If you are boxing the rear frame on a 1947-53 Advance Design Chevy or GMC truck, these plates give you pieces that are already cut to shape for the rails. Each rail uses three interlocking pieces, so you can fine-tune how they sit on your particular truck.

Do I need to make templates?
No. The plates are laser cut to shape, three interlocking pieces per frame rail so the fit can be fine-tuned to your truck. A pair is six pieces in total.
Can I mount lines and harnesses to them?
Yes. They are 12 gauge, which leaves enough material to drill and tap where you need to mount lines and harnesses.
How do I know it fits my truck?

How long before it ships?
It is a stock item and generally ships within 1-3 business days. Carrier transit time is on top of that, and larger orders can arrive in more than one box on different days.
What if it is not right for the truck?
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. The part needs to come back new, uninstalled and in its original packaging - once a part has been trimmed or welded it cannot go back.
