Description
Pull the inner fenders out of a 1967–1972 Chevrolet or GMC C10 and the hood hinges have to move. This Switch Suspension kit relocates them to the cowl on heavy duty hinges and adds gas struts to carry the hood.

- A welder. The hood mounting brackets are weld-on.
- The inner fenders. This kit exists because pulling them means the hood hinges have to move to the cowl.

When do I need these?
When the factory inner fenders come out. The stock hood hinges mount there, so this kit relocates the hinges to the cowl and carries the hood on gas struts.
Do I have to weld?
Yes, the hood mounting plates weld on. They come with pressed-in lock nuts, so the hood bolts back on without fishing for nuts behind the panel.
What is in the kit?
A pair of cowl mounted hood hinges, a pair of weld-on hood mounting brackets, four gas assist struts and the mounting hardware. Hinges only and replacement struts only are also offered at the top of the page.

You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. The part needs to come back new, uninstalled and in its original packaging - once a part has been trimmed or welded it cannot go back.
