Description
A hidden wiper system for 1947–1954 Chevy and GMC Advance Design trucks. The hardware tucks up out of sight, so the cowl keeps its factory look while the wipers do the work.

Fitment notes
On 1954 trucks the stock defroster ducts will not clear this system. Use ducts from a 1947–1953 truck, or ducts from an aftermarket A/C supplier. Original upper-dash radios will not clear the system either, and one customer reported interference with an aftermarket radio. Cross-mount master cylinders likely will not fit once the system is installed.

Installation
A GM column-mounted wiper switch cannot control this system. GM switches ground the wiper motor while this system switches the positive wire, so wire in the switch that comes with the kit.
Have assembly lube, wiper arms and blades, escutcheons and a switch knob on hand before you start. Those are not in the kit, though your stock pieces will work. Escutcheons are the trim bezels that cover the pivot posts in the cowl.

What if it is not right for the truck?
You have 30 days from delivery to return it by mail. Return shipping is on you, and the part needs to come back uninstalled and unmodified - once a part has been trimmed or welded it cannot go back. Made-to-order items are final sale. The full terms are on our returns page.
Can I install this myself?
It is designed for a home install with ordinary hand tools, and the fitment notes on this page list anything that needs drilling, trimming or welding. Where an installation guide or video exists for the part it is linked in the Installation tab.
