1947-54 Chevy & GMC Truck Sheet Metal Panels
An Advance Design cab was never built to be smooth. The factory firewall is stamped for a six-cylinder and a heater box that most of these trucks lost forty years ago, the cowl vent leaks onto your feet, and the gas filler in the driver's side of the cab is the first thing anyone notices on a lowered truck. These are the panels that answer all of that: a bead rolled firewall that covers the original stampings, a transmission tunnel sized for a modern box, behind-the-seat panels for 49-54 cabs, bead rolled kick panels and aluminum door panels, plus the cowl vent delete and gas filler delete for a body going into paint.
Everything here is laser cut and formed in our own shop in Alberta, in aluminum or raw steel depending on the panel, and drilled to the factory holes where there are factory holes to use. There is no trimming and no test fitting on a rotisserie — they go in with hand tools. The 1947-53 and 1954 cabs differ at the firewall and the cowl, so check the year range in each listing before you order.
