Description
A CPP Classic-Fit hybrid aluminum fuel tank for 1963–1972 Chevrolet and GMC trucks. It is built to sit between the stock frame rails, holds 20 gallons, and is fully baffled so the pump keeps its feed. Start with a carburetor and move to fuel injection later without changing tanks.

- Built from 1/8" thick aluminum.
- 20 gallon capacity.

- Accepts industry-standard six-bolt internal electric fuel pumps and most popular five or six bolt sending units.
- 3/8" NPT outlet, with a fuel pump block-off plate carrying a 3/8" NPT inlet for when a return line is needed.
- Side fill neck takes a 1.5" fuel hose — soft line, or stainless hard line with rubber ends and hose clamps.
- Works in both carbureted and fuel-injection applications.

- Finish: raw aluminum or black powder coat.
- Add a fuel sending unit: built for deep tanks in 1965–1997 Chevrolet models, adjustable from 6 to 21 inches, 0–90 ohms.
- Add a 255 LPH in-tank pump kit, good for engines up to 650 hp, with installation kit.
- Add a 340 LPH in-tank pump kit, good for engines up to 800 hp, with installation kit.
Fitment notes
The 1963–1972 side fill tank requires a top C-notch in the frame and will not work on 3/4 ton trucks. It is engineered to clear sway bars, exhaust and, in most cases, a 4-link setup.

Installation
The tank is designed to fit between the stock frame rails, so most installs need no major modification. The 1963–1972 side fill tank does require a top C-notch in the frame, and it will not work on 3/4 ton trucks.
Check your clearance to the sway bar, exhaust and 4-link before you order — the tank clears them in most cases. The fill neck takes a 1.5" hose, either soft line or stainless hard line with rubber ends and hose clamps.
