Mounting Instructions

Running the Wire Harness Through the Door

  1. Locate the mounting point. Find the face side of the lower door hinge.
  2. Drill and tap. Drill and tap a hole for a #10 screw (use a 5/32″ drill bit and 10-32 tap).
  3. Secure the wire. Hold the wire in place with a nylon Adel clip using the #10 screw.
  4. Route into the cab. Drill a 7/8″ hole at the top of the kick panel under the dash and install a rubber grommet for wire travel.

Power windows are one of the more common Task Force upgrades. Bead rolled firewalls, Altman door latches and billet interior hardware for the same cab are in our 55-59 truck parts collection.
