Description
Black Out is a gloss black rust preventative coating for chassis and underbody work. It is high solids and single-component, formulated to permanently stop corrosion and protect a variety of substrates from water, chemicals, salt and other corrosive contaminants.

Installation
Clean the surface properly first. The coating goes over bare metal or rusted parts with no primer, and can be brushed, rolled or sprayed on.
To spray it you will need the SP82 urethane reducer. For anything that sits in direct sunlight, plan on a topcoat for UV protection.

What if it is not right for the truck?
You have 30 days from delivery to return it by mail. Return shipping is on you, and the part needs to come back uninstalled and unmodified - once a panel has been trimmed or welded it cannot go back. Made-to-order items are final sale. The full terms are on our returns page.
Can I install this myself?
It is designed for a home install with ordinary hand tools, and the fitment notes on this page list anything that needs drilling, trimming or welding. Where an installation guide or video exists for the part it is linked in the Installation tab.
